A Catholic religious organization, the Society of St Vincent de Paul in Tarpon Springs Florida, is dedicated to serving the poor in northern Pinellas County, The Society received its nonprofit status in 2024. Depending solely on donations, the Society of lay volunteers offers person to person services to our neighbors in need. Pairs of volunteer make home visits to to those asking for financial assistance to meet immediate needs due to a temporary loss of income or emergency situations. All donations are used to support assistance with overdue rent and utilities and other needs as determined. A food pantry is open three days a weeks and those in need are connected to additional community resources.
