The San Geronimo Valley Community Center is devoted to fostering healthy communities within the San Geronimo Valley and Nicasio by providing an inclusive, diverse, and dynamic center for locally based human services, arts and culture, education, health and wellness, and community building.
Since its founding in 1969, the San Geronimo Valley Community Center has served the four villages of the San Geronimo Valley — Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls and Lagunitas — and Nicasio, and the surrounding communities in western Marin County. The Center has become a focal point for youth programming and human services, as well as community arts events and activities. Our human services, wellness programming, school readiness and school-linked services programs serve children, families and adults throughout a lifetime.
We are both a community arts and events organization and a human services community support center with a variety of programs including our award-winning VAST Tutoring Center, Youth Job Training, Zoila’s licensed childcare with scholarships for low-income families, community health fairs, vaccine clinics and wellness programs, as well as our extraordinary Food Bank which serves hundreds of families every single week!
