Secular Jewish Circle of Puget Sound

Secular Jewish Circle of Puget Sound (SJC) is the ONLY Secular Humanistic Jewish congregation in Washington state, based in and around the Puget Sound region. We host Secular Humanistic Jewish holiday services, operate youth and adult education programs, and ordain all manner of lifecycle events, whether or not they're traditionally Jewish.

Many other denominations of Judaism have a history of turning Jews away whom they deem "not Jewish enough," but Secular Humanistic Judaism is a denomination that acknowledges how vast the Jewish diaspora is, and how different all our cultures and lives can be. It does not endeavor to police your personal Jewishness. Thus, SJC operates on the self-identification model: Whether you are patrilineal, converted, or interfaith: When you tell us you're Jewish, we believe you, and you are welcome here!
