Anyone who’s dined in a restaurant has experienced hospitality. From servers and bartenders to dishwashers and chefs, each person working in a restaurant gives their all to make guests feel welcome, cared for and nourished.

Our mission is to return the favor. To care for the people who take such good care of us. To provide a place for restaurant staff to feel supported, heard and appreciated. To facilitate gatherings where we can build meaningful connections with folks who “get it.” To lift each other up so we don’t lose anyone else to suicide, addiction or struggles surrounding mental health.

CHOW was created by individuals in the food and beverage industry to bridge the gap between personal and clinical care. Everyone in the food/beverage/hospitality industry needs community and wellness resources. For those in recovery, CHOW recognizes that long term recovery needs connection and CHOW provides opportunities for that connection.

We do this by:

- Providing mental health support for food/beverage/hospitality teams through our community-building discussion groups
- Collaborating with owners and operators to provide information and guidance on best practices for resilient workplaces
- Connecting people in crisis with comprehensive supportive services.

Finally Home serves Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship families with free family strengthening education and resources for the family.

Finally Home has been providing Family Strengthening Education and resources to foster, adoptive, and kinship families since 2008. Our research based curriculum includes interactive modules focused on three main groups: adults, teens and children age 0-12.  All of our programs offer trauma-informed mental health training, support and hands-on resources to families in need.  Our research based curriculum is co-branded with Family Wellness and focuses on teaching families practical skills and tools that will strengthen and protect their entire family.  Most of these families feel alone and ill-equipped for the challenges they are facing raising their children.

Every body has to process sensation in order to stay alive, function and make meaning of the world. How our brain interprets sensory information impacts our physical health, mental health, and general wellness. Sensory processing can influence every area of life including our preferences in diet, exercise, relationships, career, and our hobbies.

STAR Institute is the international leader for research, treatment, and education related to sensory integration and processing. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to improving mainstream awareness of sensory health and to providing life-changing support and resources for individuals and families across the lifespan. LIDERAMOS’ vision is simple and powerful: to build a nation of Latino leaders. The way they do this is by expanding, connecting, and enhancing the quality and impact of Latino leadership programs in cities across the nation with the goal of developing a culturally aware, civically engaged community serving local leaders. LIDERAMOS has a strong curriculum and training program; hosts an Annual Leadership Symposium; provides a National Directory as a resource; provides Scholarship & Fellowship opportunities; as well as ongoing events and activities geared towards community building, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

SBS works to end global poverty by empowering women to become thriving entrepreneurs, lifting their families to a vibrant future.

Street Business School (SBS) trains women to launch micro-businesses, gain confidence and leave poverty behind. Through a social franchise model, we train other nonprofits to add SBS to their toolkits and deliver global entrepreneurship training to the people they serve. By 2030, SBS will have trained partners to empower 1 million women to lift their families from poverty.

SBS works with women living in deep poverty in 25 countries around the globe. These “coaches” often experience numerous and interconnected barriers to improving their financial situation, including: a lack of formal education; limited access to formal sector employment opportunities; lack of access to sanitation, hygiene, and health services; malnutrition; illness; and endemic cultural gender inequality.

SBS’s model is proven to equip women to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. Results from a randomized control trial by researchers from the University of California, Berkeley over the period from August 2018 to December 2021 demonstrated robust results on earnings and business ownership for women trained by SBS in five communities in Uganda:

•	SBS graduates’ profits one year after graduation were 119% higher than those in the control group.
•	SBS graduates increased earnings from an average of $2.47/day at baseline, to $4.82/day one year after graduating.
•	At baseline, only 52% of women who enrolled in SBS owned a business. This increased to 73% at graduation and remained at that level a year after graduation.

SBS has scaled through a social franchise model, in which we certify other NGOs to customize and implement SBS programming in their communities, reaching women across the globe in their local language through trusted community partners. As of January 2022, SBS is being delivered to women in 25 countries in partnership with 155 NGO Partners, who collectively address 16 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The SBS network has collectively trained over 18,000 women, lifting over 100,000 people out of poverty.

Our mission is to activate and expand informed giving to Native-led nonprofits in Indian Country through donor education and advocacy. We envision a thriving Native-led nonprofit sector, championing a diverse community rooted in Indigenous values and ways of being.

NWF’s focus on donor education and advocacy, combined with helping donors understand the ethical environment around giving in Indian Country, fills a gap that has historically resulted in bringing more harm than good to Native people and communities as well as to the nonprofits who serve them. While well intentioned, all too often, uninformed donors invest in organizations that do not act in the best interest of Native people, or shy away from investing at all due to broad public misconceptions and misinformation about Native people and communities.
