The Massage Therapy Foundation advances the knowledge and practice of massage therapy by supporting scientific research, education, and community service. Fortify the Foundation’s resources and organizational effectiveness  History  The Massage Therapy Foundation was founded in 1990 with the mission of bringing the benefits of massage therapy to the broadest spectrum of society through the generation, dissemination, and application of knowledge in this field. We do this by receiving donations and granting funds for research, community service, educational initiatives, and conferences, as well as by providing resources to the medical and research communities, and by educating massage therapists about the world of research.

Cardz For Kidz is dedicated to uplifting the spirits of people of all ages across the globe by delivering inspiring handmade cards. We've been able to partner with independent artists, nonprofits, corporations, and schools and have sent over 400,000 around the world. We partner with other global nonprofits (e.g. Ronald McDonald House Charities, Make-A-Wish, Amnesty International), as well as donating cards to local hospitals, nonprofits, and schools impacted by tragedy. Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund Inc is a nonprofit organization focused on providing human services. It is based in Park Ridge, IL. It received its nonprofit status in 2007.

The GRIDIRON GREATS ASSISTANCE FUND (GGAF) is a non-stock, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing financial grants and ‘pro bono’ medical assistance to retired NFL players in dire need with a minimum of 3 credited seasons. The organization focuses on the humanitarian side of post-football related issues, which includes coordination of social services to retired players who are in need due to a variety of reasons including inadequate disability and/or pensions.

The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund’s mission is to assist dire need retired NFL players who were pioneers of the game and who have greatly contributed to the NFL’s status as the most popular sport in America. Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund provides hands on assistance to help retired players and their families deal with hardships they face after football. The services include medical assistance, transportation costs for medical evaluations and surgeries, housing assistance, financial assistance for utilities, medication, and coordination of services for food, automotive payments, and childcare. Since its creation, GGAF has helped more than 1,000 former NFL players and their families.

Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund Inc

Our mission is to lower the suicide rate and prevent homelessness in the veteran population.  

Formerly known as Operation Combat Bikesaver. Our flagship program is what we call "Hotrod Therapy," which teaches veterans the skills and techniques to rebuild an old beat up motorcycle and create the bike of their dreams.  Through this distractive therapy veterans also get to work through their problems and end up "rebuilding" themselves as well.  We have seen some great men and women go through incredible changes in this program.  The veteran then gets to keep their project at no cost, and they usually end up sticking around to help mentor the next veteran through the process.  
While we are most known for our Hotrod Therapy program, we offer a variety of programs to improve the lives of veterans that served their country.  The "On Your Feet" program helps veterans going through hard times.  Our weekly veteran peer support group "Lima Charlie" meets every Thursday and gives veterans a safe space to workshop their problems with like-minded individuals who have been through similar experiences.  Our F.A.T. Program, or "Fitness and Tranquility" helps veterans to live a healthy, active, and peaceful lifestyle, which can be an adjustment to some.  Just to name a few.
100% of your donation goes to helping veterans, whether that be a part for their motorcycle build, getting them a safe ride to work in the morning, or enabling them to make positive impact in their community.  
We do not believe in just "raising awareness."  People are definitely aware.  We are making a positive impact.

Muhsen is a nonprofit umbrella organization serving children and adults with any intellectual, mental, or physical disability. Muhsen’s aim is to establish an inclusive and accessible environment for individuals with disabilities and their families. Muhsen will assume an active role to advocate and educate, conduct training, and implement programs and services across North America to improve the experience within mosques, conventions, related classes and events, as well as to engender a positive and welcoming community for persons with disabilities.

**No Shame On U** is dedicated to eliminating the stigma associated with mental health conditions so the people who need the help will seek it, family members and friends will know how to provide proper support, and to save lives.

**No Shame On U** achieves our mission through community outreach programs, an online presence of over 120,000 social media followers, blogs, podcast resource guides, handouts, crisis information, videos, teen leadership programs, and customized educational workshops for audiences of all sizes. We partner with organizations throughout the Chicagoland community and the country and are known for our inclusive, consistent, and responsive programming for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Franciscan Peacemakers Inc connects survivors of sexual exploitation to housing, meaningful work and a healing network of support.

OUTREACH MINISTRY

Franciscan Peacemakers have had a visible presence on the streets since 1995 distributing bag lunches and personal hygiene items, allowing us to be in contact with women engaging in prostitution due to sexual exploitation, trauma, human sex trafficking, and drug addiction. In service to both these women and the wider community, we develop trust over time and provide information about Franciscan Peacemakers’ healing pathway to a sustainable healthy, safe, and productive life. 

Franciscan Peacemakers Hospitality Center on Lisbon Avenue opened in August 2019 to provide a respite from the streets. The sanctuary provides a place to meet basic needs (restrooms and food) while also offering an opportunity for longer conversations with Franciscan Peacemakers staff. The Hospitality Center has been key to the referral of women from the streets into the Clare Community program since it has opened. 



HOUSING AND HEALING

Clare Community was opened in January 2014 in response to the growing need for resident-based trauma care for the women served by Franciscan Peacemakers' Outreach efforts. Named in honor of St. Clare of Assisi, Clare Community is a unique holistic program where exploited women find sanctuary and connections to resources needed to become sober, stable, safe, and prostitution-free while living in and contributing to the community. Clare Community consists of a residential facility that can provide two years of housing for up to 10 residents who live at the St. Bakhita Catholic Worker House.

Clare Community also encompasses a network of clients and volunteers who are not in residence but are committed to journeying together in healing. This community and staff gathers weekly for ‘Candlelighting’ - a time for prayer, reflection and mutual support.

EMPLOYMENT

The Franciscan Peacemakers Social Enterprise (formerly known as Gifts for the Journey) was launched in January 2013 as a supportive workplace where women in recovery from drug addiction and/or sexual exploitation are employed while learning skills in manufacturing, packaging, marketing, and sales. While acquiring the skills they need to earn a living wage, the employees who live at Clare Community have the opportunity to put a percentage of their earnings in a matched savings account to begin a strong financial foundation upon their graduation from Clare Community.

Franciscan Peacemakers products include soaps, lotions, candles, bath bombs and salt scrubs - beautifully handmade with all-natural ingredients by women working together toward individual and collective healing.

EDUCATION

With our service rooted in Franciscan Spirituality we are committed to creating community awareness about women engaging in prostitution due to trauma, human sex trafficking, and drug addiction, including why it exists and persists.

Members of our Board and Staff speak to faith communities, community service organizations, businesses, schools, and foundations. We explain how to recognize the signs of human trafficking and how Franciscan Peacemakers ministries are working to help address the problem and provide a healing pathway to a sustainable healthy, safe, productive life for women seeking healing and recovery.

Simply Destinee is a nonprofit organization focused on youth development. It is based in Aurora, IL. It received its nonprofit status in 2015.

Simply Destinee, founded by a compassionate brother/sister duo after the tragic loss of a teen family member to suicide, is dedicated to fostering the social-emotional development and mental well-being of today's youth. Our mission is to provide culturally responsive wellness skills that address the profound mental health challenges faced by many students. We believe in the power of music and the arts as positive outlets to help young individuals navigate the trials of everyday life.

At Simply Destinee, our core aim is to empower youth, encouraging them to explore their own identities while equipping them with essential coping skills. Through peer support, leadership opportunities, and by championing the normalization of mental health awareness, we strive to guide students towards a brighter future. Our programs extend beyond mental health education to offer after-school paid opportunities, leadership training, and youth mentorship to our community.

Mano a Mano Family Resource Center is a nonprofit organization focused on providing human services. It is based in Round Lake Pk, IL. It received its nonprofit status in 2001.

MaM is the only agency in Lake and McHenry counties that uniquely provides a holistic approach through a comprehensive range of linguistically, culturally competent  services primarily to the Latinx(é) immigrant community. MaM has five core programs: Healthy Families, Productive Parents, Successful Children, Engaged Citizens and Democracy in Action. To execute these programs, MaM employs a staff of 29 bilingual and bicultural staff. MaM pursues its mission in the following ways:  a) provides direct and supportive services, facilitates skill-building, and access to local community resources and opportunities; b)serves as a hub for knowledge sharing on issues relevant to the immigrant community;  c) promotes best practice models of culturally competent services; d) fosters leadership skills so clients can act to enhance their well-being and the well-being of their community; and e) influences policies and practices that affect immigrants and their families. MaM’s vision is an integrated community where everyone has opportunities and pathways to success.
