PURPOSE STATEMENT
By God's grace, the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we promote accountability and provide food and emergency shelter to men, women and children experiencing hunger and homelessness.

The Mission serves full meals to anyone in need three times daily and has overnight accommodations for up to 186 individuals. Serving men, women and children, there are 86 beds in our family wing and 100 beds in our men's dorms.

Established in 1893, the Mission is funded by individuals, churches, businesses, foundations and groups. There are not Government funds.

Supply 1 meal for a person who is homeless... just $2.47

Each night at Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley in Youngstown, Ohio over 100 men, women and children seek overnight accomodations in our shelter. On top of that, dozens from the community join us in our dining hall for a nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Since 1893, the Mission has served the Valley through the generosity of caring individuals, churches, foundations and companies. No Government money is utlized. If you would consider providing a meal, it would be greatly appreciated and would mean so much to our guests. Thank you.
