The Regenerative Organic Alliance (ROA), founded in 2017 by a coalition including the Rodale Institute, Dr. Bronner’s, and Patagonia, ROA mission is to promote regenerative organic agriculture as a holistic solution to address climate change, soil degradation, and social inequities within the food system.

ROA oversees the Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) program, which establishes rigorous standards across three core pillars: soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness. This incorporates practices such as cover cropping, composting, rotational grazing, and ensuring fair labor conditions. Through certification, education, and advocacy, ROA empowers brands and consumers to choose food and textiles that supports people and the planet.

As of 2025, the organization has certified over 36 million acres, encompassing more than 2,500 products and 297 licensed brands.

We want to invite you to be part of a transformative movement in agriculture that respects the earth, uplifts farmers, and nurtures future generations.
