Less than a month ago, Oscar found his forever home. He was living the life we dreamed of for him, running free on a farm, surrounded by ducks, chickens, peacocks, and, most importantly, someone who loved him.  Then everything changed.

Oscar got sick, and his new dad, William, rushed him to the vet. The devastating news came: **Oscar has a tumor on his spleen.** William has already spent more than **$2,000** trying to save him, and his surgery is expected to cost **more than $8,000.**

Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue, based in Middlesex, North Carolina, is dedicated to providing compassionate care, comfort, and dignity to senior and medically fragile dogs in their final chapter of life. We rescue, rehabilitate, and place these often-overlooked animals in loving foster, hospice, or adoptive homes, ensuring they know safety, love, and kindness—no matter how much time they have left.

We work closely with local shelters and families who have lost a loved one but are unable to assume responsibility for their pets, offering a lifeline to dogs who would otherwise have nowhere to go. Our mission is to honor their lives, advocate for their needs, and give them the peace, joy, and second chances they so deeply deserve.
