Opal's Heart, Inc

Opal’s Heart is a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dignity, essential supplies, and compassionate support to unhoused individuals throughout the Metropolitan D.C. area. We meet people where they are by distributing Care Bags filled with hygiene items, food, seasonal essentials, and handwritten notes of encouragement—simple but powerful reminders that they are seen and valued.

Donations directly support the purchase and assembly of these Care Bags, as well as Care Meals and community outreach efforts. Every contribution helps us respond to immediate needs while building trust and human connection with those we serve. Your generosity allows Opal’s Heart to continue showing up consistently, offering care with intention, respect, and heart—one person, one bag, and one moment of dignity at a time.
