Ndoto is the Swahili word meaning Dream. Ndoto in Action aims to transform poor children’s dreams into reality. The Organization was founded by a group of young people passionate about sustainable development and eager to empower children through education on the Tanzania mainland. We are a youth-led organization, and We believe every child should get access to quality education to break the cycle of poverty and reach their dreams.
We partner with very rural communities in Arusha, Tanzania where there is often no electricity, no clean drinking water, and no public transport and most households are living in extreme poverty. In breaking the cycle of poverty we create a conducive learning environment.
Vision: Our vision is to transform poor children’s dreams into reality through education to break the cycle of poverty and create the generation with creativity and independent minds.
Mission: NIA exists to facilitate all necessary environments which are friendly for children in learning and make them active citizens through the knowledge they acquire.
