Natural Resource Conservation Network (NRCN) is a conservation non governmental organization founded in 2013 to support the efforts of the Ugandan government in the investigation and prosecution of wildlife trafficking cases in Uganda. NRCN is a network of investigation and prosecution professionals with a goal to eradicate illegal wildlife trade and trafficking in Uganda via investigation, prosecution and exposure of wildlife crime, for the benefit of wildlife conservation. The team also assist in building capacity and collaboration across law enforcement, investigation, legal and media sectors of Uganda. The organization also supports management of human wildlife co-existence and training for the judiciary directorate for public prosecution, Uganda Wildlife Authority and police (wildlife crime law enforcement partners). NRCN also uses the power of the media to name and shame person arrested and convicted for illegal trade in wildlife product and as well sensitize the community on conservation of wildlife.
