Muttville is changing the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs.
Every day...
dogs in good health with wonderful personalities are euthanized. Why? Because they're older, and not considered adoptable. A dog is brought in because he can't jog with his guardian anymore. Or he needs a little time to get up the stairs. Or he’s simply not a puppy. In some cases, dogs are moved from loving homes to concrete cages because their guardians have died or simply can't care for them anymore.
We reach out to senior dogs at risk, give them the care they need, and find them loving forever homes. If we had our way, no dog would spend their last days in a shelter. There is so much love and joy in these dogs!

Bark, Bothered, And Bewildered
Welcome to June! Happy Pride Month. Also Happy Birthday Month to Oliver Stark. Which brings us to our next charity venture: Bark, Bothered, And Bewildered! Our goal this month is to raise money for shelter dogs in Oliver’s (& BuckTommy’s) honor. We’ve found a great rescue based in San Francisco called Muttville. What makes this place so unique & special is their mission is about helping senior dogs in particular. Whether it’s providing them loving care, foster homes or helping them in their final days through hospice care. This place is also the nation’s first cage-free facility. They do work with their foster program, donations and adoption events & other galas including Pride/LGBTQ+ causes. Which is a great way to tie-in to Pride Month & both Oliver’s & Lou’s love of dogs! Judd and Katie's Muttville Fundraiser
Muttville is a San Francisco rescue that gives senior dogs the love and care they deserve. They take in older dogs who are often overlooked, provide medical care, and help them find cozy forever homes. We’ve fostered 37 dogs through Muttville so far, and it’s brought us so much joy. Supporting their work helps more senior dogs find the comfort and care they deserve.
