Coming Out LGBTQ+ Group has been helping LGBTQ+ people in Russia since 2008 by providing free psychological and legal support to LGBTQ+ people, engage in educational activities, produce information materials on LGBTQ+ issues and related topics, conduct research and engage in international advocacy, work with the wider society to recognize rights and freedoms for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. Since 2022 Coming Out has been working primarily online from outside Russia, though the work is still aimed at LGBTQ+ communities and their environment within the country. Within 2023 Coming Out has been working on over 40 court cases, provided >800 legal consultations, >3400 free psychological consultations, 275 peer-to-peer consultations for trans\*persons, conducted 2 studies with over 10,000 respondents, published numerous materials with an average 400 000 views monthly.

The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice represents a vision for centering human rights in United States foreign policy. 

The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice (a 501c3 organization) represents a vision for reimagining United States foreign policy that prioritizes human rights. Advancing human rights in U.S. foreign policy is good for the world and good for Americans.

In January 2025, eight former Ambassadors, Special Representatives, and Special Envoys with human rights portfolios at the State Department founded The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice. Each co-founder and principal has long been a leader in their areas of expertise, including: racial justice, workers’ rights, atrocities prevention and response, support for trafficking victims, youth empowerment, women’s rights, Afghanistan, and LGBTQI+ rights. We use our insider expertise to decipher foreign policy developments in the U.S. for civil society, academia, governments, and multilateral institutions in the U.S. and around the world and inspire others to fill the void the U.S. left behind. 

The U.S. has never been perfect, but our national ideals are noble and our foreign policy has traditionally incorporated bipartisan commitments to human rights, democracy, and global justice. Today, the U.S. is walking away from those long-standing commitments. The Alliance is bridging the gap between domestic and foreign policy by demonstrating how the dismantling of the policies, funding, and infrastructure of U.S. human rights investments globally impact the daily lives of all Americans. Supporting human rights in U.S. foreign policy translates into stronger national security, a more robust economy, a healthier country, and a country that is not merely feared but respected and valued globally.  

The Alliance fills a crucial gap by serving as:

A community-supported independent library & artist workshop of printed material, fiscally sponsored by Intersection for the Arts.

The Prelinger Library in San Francisco offers thousands of historical maps, zines, documents, books and other materials, all of which are available for artists to reference or reuse. Its collections serve activists, writers, musicians, composers, poets, novelists, journalists, and historians. The Library was established in 2004 and has served over ten thousand reserach visits. Its collections have supported the production of artists talks series, films, novels as well as open-ended explorations by people working across all media types. As a 100% community-supported project, the Library s free to pursue equity and justice, abolition and libration, and to serve the community as a trans- and queer-safe space and infoshop for survival and resistance. The Library puts hospitality first and offers sparkling water or tea to every visitor.

The collections also hold government-produced documents from eras when artists and writers were widely employed in their production, offering art and literature in unexpected places as well as roadmaps toward civil societies. With stacks materials ranging from eighteenth century documents to works produced this week, the room serves as a slip in spacetime within which a couple hundred years of human experience and experiments can be browsed. Library hosts represent a range of subject-matter expertises including public transportation, radio science, zine making, natural history, library science, book arts, moving image history and production, and nonfiction writing.

The Library also exists as an experiment in analog–digital hybridity. Headquartered in New York City, Aspies For Social Success, AFSS is a peer-run organization that provides support and social groups, as well as cultural events, to adults 18 and over who have either been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome or an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), believe they might be on the Autism Spectrum, or who for other reason have difficulty with social communication, sensory processing, or executive functioning. AFSS is working to build a more inclusive community for individuals who otherwise may not have many opportunities or be able to find others with whom to socialize. We do not charge our members any fees, and our income comes exclusively from fundraising.

**The Problem**

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), approximately 1 in 68 individuals in the U.S. is somewhere on the autism spectrum. Because adulthood constitutes most of the human lifespan, the majority of these individuals are adults. In New York City, where AFSS is based, this corresponds to a population of nearly 100,000, with closer to 200,000 in the Greater New York area, most of which have not yet been identified. A common misconception is that individuals with autism prefer to be isolated and are not interested in either friendships or romantic relationships; in fact, for most adults, nothing could be farther from the truth. Consequently, there is a need for venues where adults on the spectrum can meet others who live with the same challenges, discuss and share the difficulties that they face in various aspects of their lives in a supportive environment, and be able to simply socialize with people who perceive and interact with the world in a manner similar to their own. Also, even though unemployment statistics for autistic adults are greatly overestimated (roughly half of AFSS group members are employed at some level), they are still higher than for any other disability. As such, many will not be able to afford the kinds of group and cultural activities that AFSS is working to provide. These costs can only be met through outside contributions and donations.
 
**Our Approach**

AFSS support groups, currently held in rented venues, allow members to discuss issues of concern to them in a group setting among other adults living with similar challenges. Each meeting starts with a specific theme chosen by the group. Past themes have included community, relationships, dating, isolation, and employment-related difficulties. For example, we have had discussions on what it means to be part of a community and on what an ideal community would be like. We then allow the conversation to evolve during the session, allowing members to relate their own personal stories to the group.
  
AFSS social groups encourage members to go out in public with others like them and to feel more a part of and accepted in a community, and meet at different restaurants and locations throughout the New York City area. This also provides an opportunity for the greater community to see that we are no different from anyone else and fully capable of participating in society in spite of our minor differences. These groups provide a sense of community for individuals who otherwise may not have many suitable opportunities to socialize, as well as somewhere to go, on a regular basis, with a relaxed, comfortable, judgment-free atmosphere where people can be themselves amongst others sharing similar difficulties and interests. 
  
AFSS cultural events provide opportunities for our groups to attend a variety of artistic, scientific, and cultural events. These take place in museums, galleries, exhibitions, theaters, and other venues throughout the NYC area.

Raphael House of Portland is dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence. We support survivors through emergency and ongoing services, while advancing systemic change through community-based education and collaborative advocacy. We are committed to building a future where survivors, their families, and our communities thrive.

For over 45 years, our agency has helped survivors of domestic violence and their families find safety, hope, and independence. Since opening our doors in 1977, we have provided uninterrupted access to emergency shelter in a confidential location, and we proudly offer trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive services. We serve a diverse community of adults and children primarily from the Portland metro area regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, disability, immigration status, primary language, or sexuality.

Raphael House’s programs continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of survivors and our community in creative and innovative ways. Today, we offer an array of programs that help survivors achieve permanent housing, employment, and stability and bring us closer to our vision for a world without domestic violence.

Anyone who’s dined in a restaurant has experienced hospitality. From servers and bartenders to dishwashers and chefs, each person working in a restaurant gives their all to make guests feel welcome, cared for and nourished.

Our mission is to return the favor. To care for the people who take such good care of us. To provide a place for restaurant staff to feel supported, heard and appreciated. To facilitate gatherings where we can build meaningful connections with folks who “get it.” To lift each other up so we don’t lose anyone else to suicide, addiction or struggles surrounding mental health.

CHOW was created by individuals in the food and beverage industry to bridge the gap between personal and clinical care. Everyone in the food/beverage/hospitality industry needs community and wellness resources. For those in recovery, CHOW recognizes that long term recovery needs connection and CHOW provides opportunities for that connection.

We do this by:

Our mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth in Poland from the harms of homelessness and refugeehood. 

The Warsaw House Foundation's mission is to protect homeless and refugee  LGBTQ+ youth in Poland and provide them with the tools they need to live independently. Our inspiration was the  Ali Forney Center  (AFC)  n NYC, which is largest organization in the world offering support to homeless LGBTQ+ youth. We are honored that Carl Siciliano, the AFC's founder is on the board of the Warsaw House Foundation and works as an advisor. We place extra attention on HIV and STI education, support and prevention with the help of board member Dr. Joanna Kubica and the Smart Life Clinic in Warsaw.  After we took in our first LGBTQ+ youth to house on February 14th, 2023  we have been flooded with calls for housing and support from young people in need.  These are Polish Trans 18 year-olds from the Polish countryside in desperate need to escape their abusive and intolerant homes, young queer people with PTSD and untreated mental illness who need housing and support immediately, LGBTQ+ refugees from Ukraine and several young gay men from Iraq who suffered torture in their homeland, were detained and imprisoned at the Polish/Belarussian border for up to two years, and are now trying to build their lives in Poland.  We are also housing and supporting young LGBTQ+ people from Uganda and Egypt,  We are raising money to support the young people under our care, to house and feed them and pay for their medical needs and courses needed for them to start an independent life,  We are also raising money to hire staff (all of WH's work is now done by volunteers), to continue the renovation of our residential building and for short term emergency rentals.  We have a committed and professional team and a well planned strategy for both emergency and long term care.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Madison Alfano, an effervescent 18-year-old, met a tragic fate when she succumbed to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway, just 12 minutes from her Staten Island home. Returning from her job at Monmouth University, Madison was known for her compassionate spirit and dedication to community service. Throughout high school, she actively volunteered her time, at beach clean-ups and clothing drives, etc. showcasing her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her aspirations extended to volunteering at pet shelters, reflecting her deep empathy for animals. In honor of Madison’s legacy and her selfless desire to make a difference, this Foundation was established to continue her altruistic endeavors and positively impact the lives of others, embodying the kindness and generosity she exemplified.

OutFront Minnesota Community Services is Minnesota's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization. 

For over 35 years, OutFront Minnesota has advocated for more inclusive LGBTQ+ laws and policies at the state legislature, built more inclusive school environments for LGBTQ+ youth, and provided a helpline and support to LGBTQ+ folks experiencing violence.

OutFront has fought for LGBTQ+ equity since 1987, and our accomplishments are many. In 1993 we led the campaign to pass the Minnesota Human Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity; in 2013 we organized to pass marriage equality; and in 2014 we passed The Safe & Supportive Schools Act, one of the strongest anti-bullying laws in the country.

Even in just the past several years OutFront has made enormous strides in organizing our community members and propelling the movement forward for LGBTQ+ rights in Minnesota. With our support—and after ten years of organizing—Minnesota finally passed a law to ban the harmful practice of conversion therapy. We also helped pass a law to make Minnesota a transgender refuge state, solidifying Minnesota as a bastion of LGBTQ+ rights in the Midwest. On the local level, we also passed municipal policies to make Minnesota more inclusive, such as passing gender inclusion policies in some of our largest school districts.

This is in addition to our educational equity work that supports over 3,000 LGBTQ+ youth with the trainings, resources, and events needed to build safer and more inclusive schools. We also support over 300 victims/survivors with our anti-violence helpline, financial assistance, and advocacy every year.

These accomplishments are possible because of the experience, scope, and community-based nature of OutFront. Our work is and always will be based in intersectionality, systemic social change, and trauma-informed care. c89.5 is listener-supported public radio, playing uplifting dance music and providing career-connected learning for our students.

c89.5 is a listener-supported, non-commercial radio station owned by the Seattle Public Schools and operated by professional adult staff and students in the electronic media program at Nathan Hale High School. The station is almost entirely self-funded: over 87% of its operating revenue comes from listener donations and local businesses.

Over 150,000 listeners throughout Puget Sound tune to c89.5 every week for a diverse range of music celebrating individual differences and focusing on the joy in life. The station reaches a broad range of listeners, with a high concentration in both the 18-24 and 45-54 age ranges. Over 30% of c89.5 listeners identify as LGBTQ+.

c89.5 supports the personal and professional growth of our students, giving them the skills and confidence to succeed in careers in media and other professions. Our students gain practical experience in digital media production, public speaking, and professional presentation. Many of our alumni have gone on to careers in journalism, radio, television, and digital media.

The station is also a pioneer and worldwide leader in dance music, monitored by Neilsen and by MediaBase, and one of eight stations tracked for the Billboard Dance chart.

The Rivanna Area Queer Center provides a safe refuge for all LGBTQIA+ people 
in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties.

LGBTQIA+ people need spaces of our own where we can take refuge, build resilient communities, and organize for our collective liberation. RAQC provides a safe and loving home for the queer community in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Programming at RAQC addresses multiple areas of need: support groups, peer counseling, and on-site mental health professionals contribute to the emotional wellbeing of our community. Classes and workshops on topics as diverse as screen printing, foraging, and self defense address our physical and creative needs. Social events like mixers, parties, and performances ensure that our region’s vibrant queer culture continues to flourish. In addition to our own programming, RAQC also serves as a safe and accessible space where all local queer organizations and individuals can host their own events.

Hammerstone School empowers women and gender minorities through craft trades education. 

Since 2013 Hammerstone School has been fostering self-reliance through an introduction to building skills in a space absent of preconceptions about what we may or may not know or may or may not be capable of.

By creating learning environments specifically for women and gender minorities, we offer students a place to explore their capabilities free from judgment or outdated assumptions. Our mission is to help pregnant people take control of their healthcare and futures by dismantling medicalized control of abortion and encouraging a world where abortion pills are over the counter.

We simplify access to care for patients by funding virtual abortion providers and clinics, individuals accessing telehealth abortions, and reimbursing local funds for telehealth abortion care, allowing them to focus their resources on people seeking procedural abortions in their communities.
