iDebate Rwanda is a NGO that is using debate to change the lives of young Rwandans. We give students the tools to change their own world by teaching them how to think critically, how to solve problems creatively and how to impact their own society.

iDebate Rwanda started in 2012 with 100 students and a simple belief: that young Rwandans have something powerful to say when given the chance. Thirteen years later, over 12,000 students across 220 schools have built confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills through our programs. 530 volunteers carry this mission forward every year because they've seen what happens when a young person finds their voice for the first time. 98% of Dreamers Academy Camp participants report increased confidence within one week. Every dollar goes directly to reaching the next student who's waiting for that chance.
