The decline into frailty, disease and declining independence due to aging is the cause of the greatest amount of human suffering in the world today.  Literally, billions of people are experiencing these ill effects now, and in the future.   

No single treatment will solve all the issues with aging decline.  They must be combined in a divide and conquer strategy.  This is why the Robust Mouse Rejuvenation (RMR) experiment, done by the Longevity Escape Velocity Foundation (LEVF) is so crucial to relieving this suffering in the shortest possible time.

Longevity has always been important to me and not just lifespan, but healthspan. LEVF's mission is becoming more important then ever as many populations through the world are aging. Everyone deserves as long and as healthy of a life we can give them, the longevity-focused approach to healthcare is a better model for all healthcare, not just gerontology.

Aubrey and his teams have a history of making biorejuvenation breakthroughs that lay the groundwork for future anti-aging therapies that will someday save billions of lives. They tackle the intractable bits of aging, bits that are too speculative or longterm or unprofitable for venture capital. I’m proud to support LEVF and Aubrey and their work to defeat aging.

I know enough about biology and genetics to be sure that Aubrey de Grey's approaches have huge merit, and potential of becoming a reality.  I also believe in what LEVF is doing, by doing and funding the research required that may not be otherwise easy to get investments or grants for.  But it's needed to further the reversing ageing approach.  Kudos!

There is too little focus on combining longevity interventions with each other. The RMR initiative is a great step in the right direction!
