In just over a month I will be running the 74 mile Florida Death Race, Run Bum.. Training for an ultra marathon is a privilege, but it can also feel very self-centered. That's why, for my big milestone races, I strive to raise awareness and funds for noteworthy causes. This time, I'm supporting House of Cherith, an organization combating modern-day sex trafficking and providing a sanctuary for survivors of sexual exploitation.

House of Cherith offers vital rehabilitation programs for women who have endured years of trauma. These programs help them rebuild their lives and regain their independence. I invite you to visit their page and website to read the powerful success stories of the residents.

A clean bed means the world to the women in the program. Every $30 donation provides new linens for a survivor who has escaped trafficking and abuse. With around 120 beds, the cost adds up.

This October, I’m running my first marathon — 26.2 miles — to help restore hope and freedom for survivors of sex trafficking.

I’m partnering with [**House of Cherith**](), a local organization that provides safe housing, therapy, and life restoration for women rebuilding after exploitation.

Our goal: raise **$13,100** through this fundraiser.
And to double the impact, **Gable Land Co. will match every dollar** — reaching **$26,200 total** to fuel healing and transformation.
