Faros

Faros supports and cares for refugee children, teens, and youth in Greece and Türkiye. Since 2014, we have helped young people affected by displacement find safety, recognize their worth, and build pathways toward a more hopeful future.

At the heart of our work is the Faros School, which provides education, mentoring, psychosocial support, and opportunities for young people to develop practical and creative skills. Since 2017, Faros has partnered with MIT D-Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to bring hands-on learning, design, technology, and problem-solving into the School.

Each year, Faros reaches hundreds of children and young people, with support from foundations, public institutions, universities, churches, and individual donors.
