Epic Experience
Epic Experience empowers adult cancer survivors, thrivers, and caregivers to live beyond cancer through adventure and community.
Cancer doesn’t stop affecting someone’s life when treatment ends. The physical, mental, and emotional side effects often continue long after, forever changing relationships, hobbies, social life, work, and well-being. Epic Experience was founded with the goal of ensuring no one lives through these psychosocial burdens alone. To this end, Epic Experience programs help survivors rekindle hope, regain inner strength, and find community among those who understand what it means to have cancer.
Epic Experience was founded by a family that felt the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on the patient and the family. Epic Experience’s priority is to provide a space that is nondiscriminatory no matter your race, gender, sexual orientation, or economical status. We often say that our goal is that if cancer has come into your life, we have a place for you.

Thriving Together Maine: 2026 Sponsorships
Following the success of last year's Thriving Together program, I invite you to partner with Epic Experience for our 2026 event. From September 10–13, cancer survivors will gather at L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School in Freeport for three days of outdoor adventure, and meaningful peer support, to gain the confidence and community they need to thrive beyond cancer. My wife, Rebecca, a cancer survivor, and I have personally experienced the impact of Epic Experience's life-changing programs and have seen how they help survivors navigate life beyond cancer. We are proud to bring this opportunity back to Maine and expand its reach within our community. Ready to support the program? Thriving Together - Kentucky
We are proud to introduce Thriving Together , a program created specifically for cancer survivors and thrivers . Thriving Together is a 3-night, 4-day immersive outdoor camp for adults who have faced cancer. Thoughtfully designed to foster connection, healing, and joy beyond diagnosis, these experiences bring survivors together in inspiring natural settings for powerful days of community and adventure.
Each program includes outdoor activities, shared meals, meaningful conversations, and time to unplug — creating space to reconnect with yourself and with others who truly understand the cancer journey.
