When there is poverty and suffering in a household, young people and women are deprived the most; deprived of their fundamental rights to education, health & nutrition and shelters, In many African communities, girls bear the greatest burden. Without access to education or opportunities to build skills, many are pushed into child marriage and risky survival behaviors, often exposing them to exploitation and long-term harm.
Poverty robs their dignity, kills their dreams and bleeds hopelessness, creating a dark vicious cycle of suffering and ignorance that passes from one generation to the next.
Our founder, having raised by a teenage mother, born in rural setup and raised better of his life in urban slums, lived firsthand these experiences, Over time, he came to understand that the story did not begin with being born to a teenage mother, it began earlier, with a girl who was denied access to education and skills for personal and economic development.
At End Poverty-Uganda, we strongly believe with an opportunity to the most vulnerable, we simply don’t better their own lives alone, we transform households, change society and better our communities.
This belief drives our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities through education access and skilling opportunities, secure livelihoods for the most vulnerable while fostering holistic community development that breaks the cycle of poverty for future generations.

At End Poverty-Uganda, we empower the most vulnerable young people and women living in slums and last-mile communities with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to lift themselves out of poverty. We achieve this through Innovative, market-driven vocational trainings, targeted scholarships, and livelihood support (in entrepreneurship and Agriculture) that enables sustainable income and long-term self-reliance.
In future, we need to do more activities to do with promotion of Health and Environmental sustainability.
