Civics Is Sexy

We are seeking support the pilot launch of Rome to Right Now, a civic engagement partnership between Civics Is Sexy and New York Classical Theatre, covering civic education materials, interactive audience engagement tools, marketing assets, QR-based participation technology, and on-site production support for free public performances across New York City parks. Funding will also help us reach younger and historically underserved audiences through accessible, community-centered civic programming rooted in arts and public dialogue.

Every Thursday during the run, join Civics is Sexy for a lively pre-show civics conversation in the park before the show. Join us for voter registration, interactive activities, and a short discussion exploring the play’s themes—power, persuasion, crowd psychology, and democratic fragility—before the performance begins.
