Our mission is to express the love of God by connecting the Church to our neighbors in need.
Our passion is to help our neighbors establish welcoming, safe, and comfortable homes in Christ's name.
We do this by providing the following at no cost:
- Beds and other home furnishings
- Appliances and kitchenware
- Wheelchair ramps, stairs, grab bars
- Home/yard cleaning and minor repair jobs
We often end up providing furniture to those who've recently had to leave their homes for public housing due to domestic violence, job loss, or recent disability. We act as a furniture bank in our community - neighbors with extra furniture donate it to us, then we deliver it for free into the homes of those who need it.
We also organize groups of volunteers from local churches, colleges, and other organizations to construct ramps or stairs for our neighbors who've lost access to their home due to disability or declining health, and who can't afford to hire a contractor themselves. We purchase all the materials and organize the labor, at no cost to the neighbor.
Whenever we interact with neighbors at their home, we try to love them as Christ would, and provide a friendly ear. We always ask to pray with them (if they're comfortable with that), and have found over the years that God provides real connection and comfort when we do so.
Your donation will go towards lumber and other supplies for ramps and other accessibility projects, upkeep for the vehicles used for furniture pickup and delivery, maintenance of our office and storage sheds, and the salaries of our small staff who organize volunteers, answer the phones, and step in wherever needed.
