In addition to programs and services that facilitate business development, we provide our members with a tools-based business and social network that enables entrepreneurial activities and promotes the socioeconomic growth and empowerment of the Black community. Did you know that only 2% of venture capital flows to Black entrepreneurs and the disparity in funding and the effect and consequences of those disparities that exist for Black entrepreneurs also exist for Black-led non-profits? Black-led organizations continue to receive far less private donations and grant and foundation funding than white-led organizations.

Help Close the Funding Gap for Black-owned businesses
Only 2% of venture capital flows to Black entrepreneurs and FeverPitch is Black Connect’s national business pitch competition that provides exposure, resources, opportunities and funding for Black entrepreneurs who are overlooked by venture capitalists and too often excluded by the stringent rules that govern many pitch competitions.
