Our mission is to provide Black Collegiate Musicians with access to financial, professional, and mental health resources. We aim to uplift these students through a network of community support as they navigate their journeys through higher education.

Build Up, Inc. (“BUI”) is a nonprofit capacity builder that supports the leadership of women and people of color and incubates and fiscally sponsors charitable projects and organizations that work with under-resourced and invisibilized communities around the world. It is a member of a federated group of companies comprised of Build Up Advisory Group, The Campbell Law Firm, and Build Up, Inc. and focused on transforming life outcomes for vulnerable and marginalized communities. 

A. Nicole Campbell founded BUI to work only with people and projects that pursue brave, social change. We want to interrupt cycles of poverty, injustice, and inequity and problem-solve with marginalized and vulnerable communities. As you can imagine, we envision what is possible and work hard to achieve it together. 

Our Mission

BUI empowers women and BIPOC-led organizations building bravely to bring about sustained improvement in the well-being of historically invisibilized communities by acting as a fiscal sponsor, convener, and connector and providing capacity-building resources.

To bravely facilitate and support socio-economic change and equity around the world to ensure that historically vulnerable communities are removed from the margins.
