Asiapro Foundation, Inc. (AFI) is a non-stock and non-profit corporation that spearheads the cooperative social responsibility of the Asiapro Multipurpose Cooperative Inc. and its network of regional cooperatives. Since 2014, Asiapro Foundation, Inc. (AFI) has been on a journey to help uplift the lives of cooperative member-owners, their families and communities through various charitable, relief, health and social welfare activities.
AFI lives by its mission to enable workers, their families, and communities, especially the underprivileged, live sustainably through its five program pillars:
β’ π²πππ π«ππππππ (Cooperative Assistance Program) reaches out to cooperative members' families and their communities by way of outreach projects focused on the marginalized sectors. This program is the vehicle for encouraging volunteerism among members and practicing the cooperative principle of Concern for Others.
β’ π»ππππ ππ π²ππππππππππ ( Bridge to the Future) envisions that children of impoverished cooperative members members and their children will be able to break away from their disadvantaged environment. It aims to link project participants to available voc-tech trainings, short term certification courses and prepare them for jobs that would guarantee sustainable work and career growth.
β’ π²ππππππ ππ π²ππππππππ (Partners in Health Program) AFI implements health programs and services that address medical and well-being concerns of members in need.
β’ π²πππππππππ π·ππππππ (Entrepreneurship and Livelihood) is designed to support cooperative members and their family members who have an existing side business as a way to augment their regular employment. The program aims to reinforce the capacities of micro business owners by linking them to business development seminars, entrepreneurship trainings, financial literacy, and expanding their access to capital for business expansion.
β’ π²πππππππ π·ππππππ (Calamity Assistance Program) offers crucial financial support to individuals and their families affected by calamities by helping them rebuild their damaged homes. It provides a reliable resource during unpredictable disasters, ensuring that no coop member faces adversity alone.
AFI is duly registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization since December 2014; Licensed to operate as a Social Welfare and Development Agency by the Department of Social Welfare and Development since 2019; A proud member of the Association of Foundations since 2017 and accredited by the Philippine Council for the NGO Certification (PCNC) since 2023.
