e) Under Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 by the Dept. of SW & SE, Govt. of Tripura vide Registration No. 03 and valid up to 14/05/2022.

f) Recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India as approved training Institution for Special Education.

g) Accredited on desirable norms by the Credibility Alliance vide No. CA/12/2017, Validity up to 05-04-2022.

Our vision is to stand by the people in misery, especially the susceptible senior citizens and the children & persons with special needs. We uphold the way in our onward eyes the ideal & philosophy of Swami Vivekananda for the betterment of mankind.

:OUR MISSION:

1. To protect the rights of the vulnerable senior citizens and the children & the persons with disabilities for overall welfare & betterment.

2. Capacity building on Education, Vocational, Sports, Socio-Cultural, Employment, Independent living and Full Participation.

3. To arrange Training for teachers & unemployed youths on the methods & procedures as how to provide quality teaching & Care Giving to the Special need children for quality survival.

4. Manpower Development on Geriatric Care for quality care giving.

:Awards Received:

• Award for “Best SAMARTH Project” for the year 2006-07 from the National Trust under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. The Award was presented by Union Minister Smt. Meira Kumar for Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India to Miss Susmita De, Secretary of Abhoy Mission.

• Monovikas Kendra, Kolkata, conferred ‘Monovikas Puraskar 2014’ to Abhoy Mission in recognition of “exemplary contribution” in the field of disability. The award was conferred by Prof. Sougata Basu of California University, USA, on 12th Member, 2015 to Sri Shyamal Deb, Founder & President of Abhoy Mission.

• On 3rd December, 2018, Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India, conferred National Award to Abhoy Mission as Best Institution for providing holistic comprehensive service towards persons with disabilities. The Award was presented by Hon’ble Vice President of India, Sri Venkaiah Naidu in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

• Special Olympics Bharat Award for Excellence 2011 for Best Camp Organiser in small state.

• Award of Excellence Special Olympic Bharat 2010.
