At KSPS PBS, we enrich communities through educational programs, cultural experiences, and vital public services. Our mission encompasses four key pillars: Education, Workforce Development, Arts and Culture, and Civic Health. We strive to provide high-quality content that informs, entertains, and inspires, making a significant and tangible impact on the lives of our viewers in eastern Washington, northern Idaho, western Montana, and across the Canadian border. Our work is a source of pride and connection for our community.

We broadcast four HD channels free (KSPS PBS, KSPS World, KSPS Create, and KSPS PBS KIDS 24/7) across the Inland Northwest and Western Canada, ensuring everyone can access our diverse and engaging content. In our Education pillar, we lead camps in underserved neighborhoods and produce valuable educational content that supports lifelong learning. Our workforce development efforts include filming job spotlights and creating career pipeline tools to help job seekers connect with local opportunities. By investing in these initiatives, we are not only preparing the next generation for success but also strengthening the economic fabric of our community.

Our commitment to Arts and Culture is evident in our local performance programs, which showcase the richness of our regional talent. We turn local concerts into trusted brands that unite people, fostering a sense of community and shared cultural heritage. In addition, our civic health initiatives, such as hosting debates and the high school Civics Bowl, promote civic engagement and defend democracy, ensuring that our viewers are well-informed and active participants in the democratic process.
