100 Humanitarians International: Empowering Kenyan Families through Sustainable Development

100 Humanitarians International is dedicated to empowering families in Kenya to achieve self-reliance through sustainable food, clean water, education, and health initiatives. Founded with the vision of creating long-term solutions to poverty, we collaborate with local communities to address pressing challenges in rural Kenya. Our programs target key areas to improve quality of life and foster independence, enabling families to break cycles of poverty and create a brighter future.

Our projects include:

  • Sustainable Food: Through initiatives like the Garden Tower and Chicken Projects, we help families grow their own food, leading to better nutrition and income generation. With over 20,000 garden towers built, we are reducing food insecurity and supporting local food sustainability.
  • Clean Water: By implementing rainwater capture systems, drilling boreholes, and protecting natural springs, we provide safe, accessible water for families, particularly impacting women and girls who often bear the burden of fetching water over long distances. This reduces risks from wild animals and improves health by preventing waterborne diseases.
  • Education: Education support is at the heart of our mission. By covering school fees and providing supplies, we are enabling children, especially girls, to pursue an education, which transforms communities over time. Additionally, literacy training and skills development programs equip adults with practical knowledge for sustainable income.
  • Health: Health initiatives focus on menstrual health through HopeKits, dental care clinics, and hygiene projects. These programs empower individuals with resources they need for a healthy and dignified life, further enabling them to support their families and communities.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference

Your support directly funds these impactful projects, ensuring that families in rural Kenya have access to the tools and resources needed to thrive. Donations allow us to expand existing programs, introduce new sustainable projects, and provide critical resources like school fees, water tanks, and garden towers. Every dollar goes toward creating lasting change, fostering hope, and building self-reliant communities.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of Kenyan families and contribute to a future where self-sufficiency is within everyone’s reach. Thank you for partnering with us on this transformative journey.

Chickens for Change

100 Humanitarians International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families in Kenya through sustainable solutions in food, water, education, and health. Since its founding in 2015, the organization has worked tirelessly to support families living in extreme poverty, earning less than $1.90 a day. With a focus on mentorship and self-reliance, 100 Humanitarians implements impactful projects such as garden towers for food security, rainwater capture systems for clean water access, education sponsorships, and health initiatives. These efforts aim to break the cycle of poverty and create long-term opportunities for thriving communities. Chicken Businesses Raising chickens can be a life-changing endeavor for families in poverty, offering a pathway to rise above the global poverty line of $1.90 per day. Participating in a chicken enterprise provides a host of benefits that can significantly improve their economic prospects. The Benefits of a Chicken Business: ✔️Nutritious Food and Supplementary Income:  Raising chickens provides a steady source of eggs, ensuring healthier meals and reducing food expenses for families. Selling surplus eggs generates additional income, helping families save and invest in other income-generating activities. ✔️Reliable Income from Meat Sales:  Chickens offer a reliable source of protein when raised for meat. Selling poultry products, which are often in high demand, provides a steady market and additional income, aiding families in surpassing the global poverty line. ✔️Low Maintenance and Skill Development:  Chickens are low-maintenance and require minimal space, making them accessible for families with limited resources. Engaging in a chicken enterprise teaches valuable skills in animal husbandry, business management, and budgeting, empowering families to apply this knowledge to other ventures and improve their economic prospects. Your donations will go towards providing a chicken business to a family in a community living in extreme poverty in Kenya. Learn more at https://100humanitarians.org
