An Elevator for Students with Moving Disabilities

We are raising funds to install an accessibility elevator that will provide safe, dignified, and independent access to the Counseling Center at the University of Crete (Heraklion campus) for students and staff with moving disabilities. Currently, individuals with mobility challenges cannot easily reach the Center, which limits their ability to receive crucial psychological support, academic guidance, and wellbeing services. This upgrade is not just a construction project; it is a commitment to equality, respect, and the fundamental right of every person to access essential resources without barriers.

The elevator will be fully compliant with modern accessibility standards, ensuring comfort, safety, and reliability for all who depend on it. Every donation, whether large or small, moves us closer to completing the project.
