Bring health where it is needed most

Access to healthcare services remains an outstanding commitmentin some of the most vulnerable areas of northern Argentina. In particular, in the city of Santa Victoria Este, Salta province, 89% of the population experiences some form of Unmet Basic Needs (UBN). This poses a significant health risk for the community, with high rates of child malnutrition and tuberculosis.

For this reason, the Hospital Italiano of Buenos Aires and its university have launched a socio-health and educational project that deploys interdisciplinary delegations to provide comprehensive medical care, health promotion and training to isolated communities.

Each delegationconsists of healthcare professionals from different specialties and remains in the area for a month, offering free medical care and professional training to support the development of the local healthcare team.

Thanks to the support of people like you, more than 600 individuals receive care each year through this program. But there is still much more to be done.

●       Cost per delegation: USD 5.000

●       Current goal: To fund 6 delegations = USD 30.000
