**Help Town Bizness Refresh the Motel Fund** 

Our motel fund keeps our most vulnerable neighbors safe, stable, and reachable while we work toward housing. Right now, that includes Robert—73, legally blind, and medically fragile—who couldn’t tolerate a recent placement. Your support helps us keep people like Robert under a roof while we push toward housing that actually works.

We will need at least another $3,000 for the next two months making the goal 4900 because we collected and spent the 1900 we fundraised previously. 

Refresh the Town Bizness Motel Fund

Organized volunteers providing outreach to unhoused folks with urgent relief: warmth, food, humanity, and  connection to services.

Town Bizness exists to bring the necessities of a dignified human life to the unhoused population of Oakland and Berkeley, CA. 
These necessities include good food, reliable shelter, clothing, toiletries, bedding, and basic creature comforts such as safe propane stoves and heaters, radios, and more, depending on each client’s needs. 

We also assist with housing, and keeping folks connected to service providers by supplying telephones and monthly service. 

The majority of folks we serve were born where they now live in tents, and once had property ownership in their families here in the bay area, but no longer do. Most are seniors, and many of them are now sick and/or disabled.

Our homeless population should not be existing. As much as this country spends on wars, corruption running rampant, there is no way an American should not have a home to go home to. This is why I'm supporting Town Business the best way I can.
