The Literacy Center

The mission of The Literacy Center is to enhance lives and promote self-sufficiency through quality adult education services. Our vision is a thriving community where all members, regardless of socioeconomic status, are empowered to achieve their full potential. The Literacy Center helps people learn English, get better jobs, and become more engaged members of our community. We are the only organization in the greater Attleboro area that does this work. All services are provided at either low or no cost to our students, and no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay for classes. We strive to create a warm and welcoming community space, where all who need our services feel confident seeking resources and joining our programs. The Literacy Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and is supported entirely by donations and grants.
