For more than a century The Road Home has been a cornerstone of the Salt Lake County, Utah community, aiding tens of thousands on their journey out of homelessness and into stable homes.
Last fiscal year we served over 5,000 individuals in our Shelter program, including 500 families and nearly 1,000 children. And we served more than 2,500 people in our Housing program, including nearly 1,500 families and over 1,000 children.
Founded in 1923, we have grown and evolved into a comprehensive crisis-response shelter and housing provider since 1986. Our five emergency shelter resource centers are always open and serve over 1,000 people nightly. In addition to our Shelter program, we provide Housing programs such as Rapid Rehousing and Supportive Housing Communities that connect individuals and families to affordable housing. All programs are coupled with wraparound services like connections to employment, healthcare, childcare, food security, and other vital resources.
