Education plays an important role in reducing poverty and improving the lives of individuals, their families, and communities. Teach for the Philippines (TFP) believes that within our lifetime, all Filipino children can have access to relevant and excellent education.
The students they serve in the public schools are some of the most vulnerable groups in the Philippines; access to technology, equipment, and know-how are varied and often poor. With face-to-face instruction impossible for most, the knowledge and learning gaps between those who have and those who have not are at risk of growing wider than ever.
