Gaza Rehab Care (GRC) is a coalition initiative led by Taawon to address this crisis. Over 20 years, GRC aims to provide comprehensive rehabilitation to Gaza’s People with Amputation Cases (PAC) and build a sustainable, locally-led system of care – moving beyond temporary aid to restore mobility and independence.

**Taawon (Welfare Association)** is a **non-profit**, **civic organization** launched in **Geneva** in the year **1983**, upon the initiative of a group of **Palestinian and Arab economists** and intellectuals.
**Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon**, whereby it touches the lives of **more than one million Palestinians** on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being **women**.
**Since its establishment, Taawon has invested funds reaching nearly US $900 million, dedicated to development and relief programs.**

**Taawon’s record** over the past 40 years reflects a journey full of achievements reinforced by **strong partnerships**.
Taawon’s long and rich experience has enabled it to:
