La Maison de Simon is an artists' residence in Normandy created in honor of Simon Kasha.
La Maison de Simon is an artists' residence in Normandy, France, created in honor of Simon Kasha. We promote contemporary artists in the fields of visual art, music, writing and the culinary arts.
The house itself is a converted stone barn in the village of Fontaine-sous-Jouy. The renovation was completed in January of 2023, and has already welcomed visual artists from France and the US.
Its facilities include:
* Six artists’ studios (including a ceramics studio)
* Two bedrooms with bathrooms
* An open professional kitchen, living and dining areas, a library, and a balcony
* Laundry and utility rooms
* A garden
