Raising funds for Kenya’s first Children’s cancer hospital

I will be running the Salam Cape Town Marathon in May of 2027, as part of Shoe4Africa’s fundraising team.
Shoe4Africa is a non-profit that funds education and public health in Eastern Africa. The organization has already built 6 public schools, and a children’s hospital. They run a women’s empowerment project focusing on empowering young girls through education and sports, and supporting domestic violence survivors. Their latest cornerstone project consists of building Sub-Saharan Africas first children’s cancer hospital. Currently 1/9 children diagnosed with cancer in Kenya will die due to lack of access to medical care.
