The Massage Therapy Foundation advances the knowledge and practice of massage therapy by supporting scientific research, education, and community service.  Guiding Principles   The Foundation commits to:  • Upholding the principles of philanthropy • Contributing to the understanding and appreciation of massage therapy. • Increasing the Foundation’s visibility in health and wellness. • Sustaining the Foundation’s organizational effectiveness. • Fostering the spirit of collaboration. Fortify the Foundation’s resources and organizational effectiveness  History  The Massage Therapy Foundation was founded in 1990 with the mission of bringing the benefits of massage therapy to the broadest spectrum of society through the generation, dissemination, and application of knowledge in this field. We do this by receiving donations and granting funds for research, community service, educational initiatives, and conferences, as well as by providing resources to the medical and research communities, and by educating massage therapists about the world of research.

One in five children diagnosed with cancer lives in poverty.

For children whose families are facing poverty paying for the expenses to get to treatment can be a real problem. The best cancer treatment in the world cannot cure a child if he or she has no way to get there. 

Compass to Care, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is proud to have a nationwide non emergency medical transportation (NEMT) solution that directly and immediately remove the transportation barriers to help these children get to the hospital for cancer treatment.
