International Veterinary Outreach (IVO) focuses to create healthy communities free of animal suffering. We take a One Health approach to develop and implement sustainable veterinary services and training programs in economically disadvantaged communities worldwide.

At Noora Health, we believe no human being should suffer because of a preventable medical condition.

Noora Health is focused on improving patient outcomes in public health systems in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia by training the family caregivers of patients admitted to government hospitals - making them an integral part of healthcare delivery. They develop high quality training and education materials (videos, flipcharts etc) delivered through a train the trainer model for healthcare professionals to use in-hospital to upskill and train the family and patient. They also have a post-discharge follow-up on mobile (via WhatsApp, teletraining, and voice messages) that allows them to share content with families when they return home, be there in a moment of need, answer questions etc. 

They have seen remarkable outcomes – in a cohort of patients, the program reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, newborn readmissions by 56%, and newborn mortality by 18%. 

Noora Health is in the scale-up phase of their work, aiming to reach 70 million caregivers in the next five years (they recently surpassed 3 million), and they are eager to leverage their digital capabilities to achieve this with high fidelity to the quality they are known for.

Every child deserves access to education. It is a basic human right. Yet in Sub-Saharan Africa, over one fifth of primary school aged children are not in school. That’s just not right. 

So They Can is an international NGO on a mission to change this. They work with vulnerable communities and their governments in Kenya and Tanzania to educate and empower children, so they can break the poverty cycle, realise their own potential and meet their own needs. 

Over a 7-10 year development cycle, So They Can works closely with a community to understand their needs and implement projects that will best support them. Throughout the cycle, they develop relationships and ensure transfer of knowledge and management skills to these communities to ensure sustainability of the programs. This enables them to eventually shift to a governance role so we can expand our focus and core resources to help other vulnerable communities.

Since being founded in 2008, the DFAT accredited NGO has partnered with 42 schools and helped deliver quality education to over 24,000 students.

We believe that everyone in our community should have the opportunity to be healthy. A person’s income, race, immigration status, language, age, or zip code should never act as a barrier to health.

In 1996, The Health Trust was formed from the sale of a local nonprofit hospital system to a for-profit corporation. Since then, we have served the Silicon Valley community as a nonprofit operating foundation. The Health Trust is what's known as a "hospital conversion foundation" or "health care conversion foundation."

For over 20 years we’ve ensured that health related grants, policies, and services exist to help give everyone the opportunity to be healthy - especially the most vulnerable. That’s what building health equity means to us.

It’s a mission driven by our core values, and one that we try to achieve as a local provider, funder, and advocate. But we can’t do it alone. With the support of our funders, donors, and volunteers, and by partnering with community-based organizations, policymakers, and local leaders, together we can build the equity we seek.

The Health Trust

Financial assistance given to the underprivileged children who don’t have the resources to pay for their child’s Heart surgery.

Bloom to life is a US-based humanitarian organization formed in July 2015 to save the lives of young children from India with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Financial assistance will be provided to the underprivileged children and their parents who don’t have the resources to pay for their child’s Heart surgery. Over the last 7 years, we have assisted in the successful completion of 45+ underprivileged children’s Heart surgeries in India and “saved their lives”. We are proud to say 100% of your donation funds the children’s heart surgeries.

Bloom To Life has tied up with the best hospitals and top Pediatric Cardiology surgeons in India to do the heart surgeries. Most of our surgeries are done in hospitals like AIMS, Apollo, MIOT & Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Heart is the center of the universe in the human body. No human body can function without a HEART. Heart surgeries carry much higher risk than any other operation. There is always a risk to life. Without the operation they will not survive. Pediatric cardiac heart surgeries are extremely complex.

Cardiac surgery in a child's heart is a major event in the life of the child and the entire family. They will never forget the doctors & the people who helped with the surgery. The events happening in the family are always described in the future as Before the Heart operation & After the Heart operation.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the world’s most common major birth defect, affecting one in every 120 children. The situation is particularly grim in India: with a population of more than 1.21 billion and a high birth rate, more than 90 percent of CHDs go undiagnosed and only 10 percent of children who are actually diagnosed receive the necessary treatment. Unfortunately, access to high quality pediatric cardiac care is problematic in India due to a shortage of trained professionals to treat children with CHDs and because many people cannot afford treatment.

In India, up to 270,000 infants (age <1 year) are born with CHDs and each
year an additional 37,000 children are diagnosed. Unfortunately, a majority of children living with CHDs in the poorer regions of India escape detection and diagnosis. Rheumatic fever and resultant rheumatic heart disease (RHD) also affect children in developing regions of the world, where limited access to primary health care, overcrowding, unhygienic living conditions and low socio-economic status contribute to its high prevalence. The prevalence of RHD in all age groups in India is estimated to be 1.5-2/1000, which suggests there are between 2-2.5 million patients with RHD in the country.
