Our vision is to lay every brick needed to build a brighter future for the DRC—starting with schools, expanding through opportunity, and rising into a future shaped by a new generation of leaders

Buendedi provides direct tuition support to Congolese students who need it the most in private and public education. Our support lessens the financial burden on students' families and empowers teachers to reinvest in their students.

GirlTREK is one million Black women walking to heal our bodies, inspire our daughters and reclaim our neighborhoods. 


GirlTREK began with a simple but life-saving promise between two friends: to walk their way to better health and inspire others to do the same; and it is now a grassroots movement powered by everyday women. We are the women we serve. Now, GirlTrek is mobilizing this constituency for its boldest mission yet: a Care Crusade to extend Black women’s life expectancy by 10 years in a decade. These bold campaigns—scaling to 5 million members, establishing community wellness hubs “Care Villages”, training a Blue Brigade of health responders, and advancing policies to dismantle systemic barriers—will build lasting systems of care and inspire future generations.
