Sweet, strong, capable, hilarious, sensitive, adaptable, intelligent, goofy, funny, lovable, and kind. This is Lincoln. This is SATB2.

Lincoln is one of 800+ individuals worldwide diagnosed with SATB2-Associated Syndrome. Every milestone he reaches is a testament to his determination, resilience, and the unwavering love and support surrounding him. He continues to grow, learn, and amaze us while paving his own unique path.

Lincoln is kind. He loves his family, his pets, and school with his whole heart. His joy is contagious, his smile lights up every room, and the unconditional love he shares is truly unmatched.

This year’s SATB2 Awareness Day theme is “Love Needs No Words.” 💜

Lincoln has a message he’d like everyone to hear:

📣 “Listen Up!”

Nonspeaking does NOT mean:

• Non-listening

• Non-thinking

Our children have so much to say, even if they don’t use spoken words. They deserve to be heard, included, respected, and presumed competent.

August 22 is SATB2 Awareness Day-a day to celebrate our incredible individuals, advocate for greater understanding, support families, and raise awareness for this rare diagnosis.

You can help us spread awareness by donating to Lincoln’s Fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds go directly to and benefit the SATB2 Gene Foundation‘s mission.

Thank you for loving, learning, listening, and standing with our SATB2 community. Together, we can help the world see that love truly needs no words. 💜🧬
