Pierce County Library Foundation
Pierce County Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Pierce County. It received its nonprofit status in 1976.
The Pierce County Library Foundation inspires support for the Pierce County Library System by funding enhancements and innovations, advocating for the library, and building partnerships.
We have a vision to strengthen literacy for everyone in Pierce County to build an equitable, knowledgeable, engaged, and empowered community. We are dedicated to strengthening literacy by providing individuals free access to information to improve and enrich their lives, and to building a vibrant community through a robust public library system.
Gifts to the Foundation are invested in:
- Literacy and Library resources.
- Digital tools and Technology.
- Areas of greatest need.
