Bringing Practical STEM to Every Child in Northern Ghana

Raised

Goal
$50,000

Across classrooms in Ghana, teachers are finding new confidence, and learners are discovering the joy of science through simple, practical experiments.

With just a few everyday materials, abstract concepts become tangible and relatable — helping students see themselves as problem-solvers and future innovators.

Since 2023, thousands of learners have experienced hands-on science because their teachers received Practical Education Network’s (PEN) Hands-on Science Manuals.

One teacher even called hers “my second Bible” because of how often she relied on it to make lessons come alive.

Each manual helps nearly 200 learners explore STEM in ways that are engaging, creative, and within reach.

However, this impact has largely been concentrated in Southern Ghana, leaving many classrooms in the North without the same opportunities.

Your support can change that.

  • $20 places one manual in the hands of a teacher, reaching about 200 learners
  • $200 equips 10 teachers, impacting around 600 learners
  • $2,000 equips 100 teachers, reaching nearly 6,000 learners

Every dollar counts.

Together, we can bridge the education gap and bring hands-on, practical STEM learning to every child in Northern Ghana.

PEN is enabling every African child to learn by doing.
