Neglect to Compassion: Filipinos United for Stray Animals

I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many countries, and along the way, I’ve seen how far awareness and compassion for animal welfare can go when it becomes part of a society’s values. And as an active animal volunteer in the UAE, sadly, it also made me realize how much the Philippines still has to catch up in this area.

Every day, countless stray animals face neglect, hunger, and suffering — often unseen, often unheard. Animal cruelty, in any form, should have no place in our communities. It’s something we must collectively acknowledge and work to eliminate.

This campaign is a small step toward that change — to raise awareness, extend compassion, and provide real support to those who need it most.
