To empower individuals to meet the challenges of Parkinson's disease through information, education, personal support and advocacy for a cure.

Parkinson's Resources of Oregon (PRO) is an independent, donor supported non-profit that began in 1980 as a single support group. Since then we have grown and flourished and now provide local services to more than 15,000 individuals throughout Oregon and Southern Washington who lives have been touched in some way by Parkinson's disease.   

PRO now offers over 60 support groups throughout Oregon and SW Washington. We also offer a Peer Mentorship program, Education and Wellness classes (nearly all free to attend), Long Term Care Training for professional caregivers and a toll-free helpline for anyone needing resources, information or a sympathetic ear.
