Let's gamify OST2!

Let's make learning on OST2 more fun, by adding gamification!

RaccoonGang has a gamification plugin for Open edX, which we've worked with them to adapt to our needs. Our current prototype is shown in this video.

Adding this capability for badges and leaderboards will help make OST2 more fun, and provide additional motivation for students to finish classes. It will also provide new capabilities for students to track sub-class knowledge and accomplishments, and show them off on their profile. And we also plan to add new manually-verified accomplishments for students to show off - things like speaking at security conferences, publishing in high quality zines, publishing their own original research on a blog, releasing security tools, volunteering at OST2, etc!

However, getting the infrastructure upgraded and getting RaccoonGang to consult and upgrade the code to work on newer versions than they support is not cheap! Please donate to help us level up OST2 like OST2 helps level up security experts!
