LCA Fundraiser

My son, Nicholas, was born with a rare form of blindness called Leber's Congenital Amaurosis, or LCA. He has a defect in the RPGRIP1 gene, and is slowly losing what vision he has. He may lose all of it at some point. He just started college and is praying for a cure before he graduates.

Odylia Therapeutics has been working on creating a gene therapy for this particular gene for several years and is closing in on starting clinical trials. They are attempting to raise $140,000 by October 15 so they can get started. I know he is so anxious for treatment and would love to be able to see.

I know things are so tight right now, but every dollar helps.

I love my son and always been told by medical field that he will benefit from restoring vision through gene therapy. I want to see that happen for him soon
