Alejandro Barrios grew up in our community. He joined New Hope’s Teen Leaders program in high school, was elected group president his senior year, and is now a college senior studying cybersecurity. Today, he’s also New Hope’s very first Leader Launch Intern—a paid, mentored role designed to give young adults from our community the experience, skills, and support they need to step confidently into their careers.

Through Leader Launch, Alejandro is building real-world tools—like a custom checkout system for our School Christmas Marketplace and a digital platform to help run our programs. He’ll leave with a professional portfolio, a stronger network, and a clearer path into his future.

Our goal is to raise $7,500 to fully fund Alejandro’s internship.
