Vision:
New Song Community Learning Center, is creating a dynamic community wellness hub in Sandtown-Winchester to advance equity and uplift community.

Mission:
New Song Community Learning Center is building on its rich history as a community-based non-profit to create a dynamic community wellness hub through partnerships, collaborations and community engagement that focus on education, health and workforce development serving the children, youth and families of Sandtown-Winchester.

VALUES:
Ensuring that the organization affirms and respects -- the racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual identities, history and culture of its students, parents, staff and community; that there are fair and equitable involvements, and relationships; and that we embrace the best practices of social justice in our conflict resolution for students, parents, staff and community members.

New Song Community Learning Center (NSCLC) opened in ‘91 as a non-profit educational program, for the children in the Sandtown-Winchester community of West Baltimore.

NSCLC expanded in ‘94 with the opening of New Song Academy, a K-8 public school in 1997.

In 2001, NSCLC moved into our current space provides space for additional community programs & services.

Today, approximately 180 PreK–8th Grade children & their families attend classes, after school programs, musical & arts performances, basketball games, workshops & other events under the New Song Community Learning Center umbrella.
