I'm sure you are aware of the widespread poverty existing on remote Native American reservations in the United States. So, you won’t be surprised to learn that when families living on these reservations are having trouble supporting themselves, cats and dogs don’t always get the vet care they need. Unfortunately, this causes a great overpopulation of animals that need care, love, and shelter. The fortunate ones are taken in by one of our Reservation Animal Rescue partners where they can be cared for and adopted, but not all are so lucky.
Reservation Animal Rescue (RAR) works endlessly to give the accessibility to vet care that many simply cannot afford. We work with our partners in these communities to provide spay/neuter services, as well as much needed veterinarian care. Our services in these communities are the difference between life and death for many animals, and we will continue to diligently work until there are no overpopulation issues, and unnecessary suffering can be prevented.
RAR supports our tribal partners with supplies to care for animals in need, while collaborating to set up free vaccines for animals and clinics offering spay and neuter surgeries, as well as vaccines for rabies, distemper, and parvovirus for pets.
This is what we can do with your support! Help us save the lives of stray dogs and cats while assisting with veterinarian medical care on these reservations by giving any amount you can today.
It is because of donors like you that these animals will have a real chance!
