On March 28, a powerful earthquake struck central Myanmar—the strongest in over a century, devastating already vulnerable communities in the Mandalay and Sagaing regions. Thousands are displaced, and the loss is heartbreaking. Among those directly affected are four students from the Pre-Collegiate Program of Yangon. Amid civil war, food insecurity, and now this disaster, they face unimaginable uncertainty—but they’re still determined to pursue their dreams of higher education abroad.
